Farmers markets often let you used your own containers for de-shelled pistachios. that is the most beautiful sentence you've ever read. you're welcome
HEY GUYS! Long time so speak, well, do I have the news for you. I have recently discovered the decomposition notebook. Now, after reading that sentence you have one of two questions. You're either thinking - what is the decomposition notebook? Well, I am more than happy to tell you. The decomposition notebook is a spiral notebook made of 100% post-consumer-waste recycled pages AND it's printed with soy ink. So it's basically a notebook made out of trash and printed with a dairy substitute BUT it's very cute and almost entirely zero waste. The other question you may have is - Lainey, how have you not heard about this? My friend, I don't know either. All I know is that I was wandering my college's bookstore and saw it, and fell in love. So, I highly encourage every single one of you to go out and look at one of these. I certainly will be loving mine. Wooo!!
This one is actually some advice, shocker. I thought this was common knowledge but I have recently learned that it is not among my age group. You know those plastic rings that come around a 6-pack of drinks? CUT THEM!! Cut each ring!!! Cut them so that an animal doesn't get it's head stuck in them. This obviously is not a living without plastic thing but I've seen many people around my age not doing this and it's crazy!!! Save the Turtles!!!!!!
